PHOTOLUMINESCENT EXIT SIGN GREEN LETTERS NO ARROWS
The TES-PES UL 924 EXIT Signs utilize the most advanced technology in photoluminescence to absorb ambient light and provide a highly visible egress marking
so building occupants can quickly and easily identify emergency exits when found in
sudden darkness. These signs are an efficient, inexpensive way to eliminate the additional power consumption, high maintenance and liability issues associated with standardized EXIT signs. The TES-PES EXIT signs are certified for use at a
distance of 50 feet after 90 minutes of total darkness and can be utilized to replace conventional electrical or tritium exit signs. These Exit Signs are non-toxic and non-radioactive making them environmentally friendly and completely safe to use anywhere.

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS
All TES-PES products have been manufactured utilizing newly improved
phosphorescent (glow-in-the-dark) pigments, which are based on
Strontium Oxide Aluminate Chemistry. They are drastically different
from conventional phosphorescent pigments, which are either based on
Zinc Sulfide or on radioisotopes for their self-luminous properties.
The initial afterglow brightness of Strontium Oxide Aluminate products
is up to ten times that of conventional phosphorescent pigments.
TES-PES Strontium Oxide Aluminate products deliver illumination levels
of 508 millicandelas in the initial phase and lasts upwards of 33 hours,
the time span for afterglow brightness to diminish to .32 mcd/m2
(100 times the human eye perception limit).
INSTALLATION
Prior to installation it must be determined that there is a minimumof 5 foot candles of fluorescent, metal halide or mercury vapor light on the face(s) of the sign at all times during building occupancy. According to the EPA, the average foot candles found in an office space is 50 foot candles.

The TES-PES EXIT sign has been tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. in accordance with UL 924 and complies with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 5000,
