PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The EL-H-16-W provides superior emergency lighting illumination with the use of halogen lamps. The EL-H-16-W series is constructed of impact resistant thermoplastic to withstand abuse and corrosion. With AC lock-out and brownout protection, the EL-H-16-W series is constructed as a dependable emergency lighting source for your indoor application. The EL-H-16-W is ideal for all types of indoor applications, from commercial to retail. The EL-H-16-W is favored for its sturdy construction and long lasting sealed lead acid battery backup system. The EL-H-16-W has an expected product lifespan of at least 10 years. The EL-H-16-W is UL 924 Listed and code compliant throughout North America.

EXTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS

Unit & Lamp Housing: Precision molded housings constructed of flame retardant, corrosion proof thermoplastic. Units resist denting, peeling, scratching and corrosion. Not recommended for outdoor use. Finish: Textured white.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY

Maintenance-free, sealed lead acid battery provides an estimated service life of 10 years with an operating temperature range of 65°F (19°C) to 85°F (30°C).

EMERGENCY OPERATION

Charging circuit is solid state type with constant current charge and transfer design. Circuit is brown-out protected and provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency run time and recharge time of 24 hours. Push to test switch and an LED AC indicator provides simple means for manual test.

INSTALLATION

Units are mountable in any orientation, on wall or ceilings. A universal mounting pattern and rear key hole slots are provided.

WARRANTY

Any component that fails due to manufacturer’s defect is guaranteed for 5 years from time of shipment. Battery is prorated for 5 years. Warranty does not apply to damages caused by improper installation, abuse, fire or acts of God. Lamps are not covered.
