PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The STX Combination exit sign and battery unit series features an attractive, contemporary steel housing design. Ideal for commercial & institutional installations; the combined ability to mark an exit and light the path of egress, make the STX Combination an extremely versatile fixture. Available config- ured with high-output LED lamps for self-powered operation.
EXTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS
The STX Combination series is constructed from durable 20 gauge steel with standard white baked powder coat finish. Available in custom finishes (please specify.) Single, double or universal face versions must also be specified. Universal mounting pattern and key hole slots are stamped into the back plate. Removable chevron arrows are standard on each fixture. Standard external LED status indicators and push button test switch. Heads are molded from high impact thermoplastic in a matching color; SR PAR18 style heads are standard.
INTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS
SELF-POWERED: standard self-powered versions use a valve regulated, sealed lead-acid battery to provide the emergency lighting duration as specified per unit. Standard 120/277 input with Solid state charger and transfer.

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The STX combination series is constructed of durable 20 gauge steel. Universal mounting pattern and key hole slots are stamped on the back plate. Surface mount conduit entry knockouts are also provided. Field removable directional arrows are standard. This versatile fixture is supplied standard with an attractive and durable white, powder coat finish. Other colors are available, including custom color matching (please specify). The advanced design of the STX combination series contains no extraneous holes or slots, thereby eliminating unwanted light leaks. A simple and sturdy channel design securely holds the face and back plates into the frame providing quick and trouble free installation and maintenance..
CHARGER SPECIFICATIONS
The STX combination series charger is a fully automatic current limited charger with solid state line latched low voltage disconnect protection. All components are temperature compensated. The charger also has brownout and short circuit protection. Charger status is determined via a dual diagnostic LED display that indicates AC ON and High Charge. A push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the status of the exit and lamp load on AC fail.
BATTERY TECHNOLOGY
The STX combination series is designed with a maintenance free, valve regulated sealed lead-acid battery providing emergency lighting duration as specified per unit. Recharge time of the battery is twenty-four (24) hours. The maximum battery operating temperature is 50 C.
LAMPHEAD FEATURES
The STX combination series is supplied with two (2) PAR18 small style 9W heads. Large style PAR36 heads are also available. Both head styles are constructed of high impact thermoplastic in a color matching the finish of the cabinet. Both feature a unique locking twist collar that securely holds the lens and facilitates quick and easy re-lamping. .
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The STX combination series is configured with high-output LED lamps. Standard with 120/277VAC input. All LED versions use only 1.1W nominal power. Emergency illumination is provided by the LED light source at the following wattages: 6VDC - 1.5 Watts 12VDC - 2.5 Watts 24VDC - 4.5 Watts
