LOW LEVEL LED SECURITY ILLUMINATION -- WET LOCATION LISTED

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The PathMaster luminaire series is designed to support low-level illumination of stairwells, step landings, wheelchair ramps and exit corridors. PathMaster incorporates a 10- year continuous duty rated, white LED light engine. The PathMaster luminaire can be used as a normally off 12 VDC emergency luminaire receiving power from a remote mounted 12 VDC emergency lighting unit, and also as a normally on security lighting device powered by a Chloride remote mounted 12 VAC power supply (PS 100-500 Series). When powered the PathMaster becomes a normal emergency lighting unit.

ILLUMINATION

The PathMaster LED engine utilizes three high performance white LEDs combined with a solid-state integral driver circuit. PathMaster performs best when mounted 18in A.F.F. By utilizing multiple luminaires mounted on 8ft centers, PathMaster will meet NFPA required 1 foot-candle average illumination standard. PathMaster incorporates a user selectable, three level intensity control.

INSTALLATION

PathMaster is designed for installation in a single gang metallic or die cast junction box. When installing PathMaster in an outdoor damp or wet location, a single gang FS style junction box will be required by most local electrical codes. All units (low voltage and line voltage) are UL wet location listed.

HOUSING

PathMaster is assembled from premium die cast aluminum components, and is painted in a durable powder coat finish. Standard finishes include black, white and ivory with optional finishes available for custom projects. PathMaster is assembled as a one-piece device that includes the LED light engine, integral power supply, three level intensity control and a single gang junction box mounting plate. Recessed or surface mounted metallic junction boxes are not supplied with the product. All LED and electrical components are protected by both a polycarbonate lens, and high impact power supply case that will be located within the junction box. The PathMaster is fastened to the mounting junction box via two oval head 6x32x1/2 machine screws (Supplied with product). Electrical connection is made via two flying leads. Wiring from remote emergency power, or remote normally on power supplies should follow National Electrical Code (NEC) recommendations for wiring of Class 2 electrical devices and/or remote low voltage emergency lighting fixtures.

ELECTRONICS

PathMaster is designed with all solid state components and is rated for 10 years of continuous normally on use. Standard product incorporates dip switches on rear of product allowing three levels of intensity.

REMOTE POWER SUPPLY

Normally On remote power supplies (See PS100- 500 Series, Page 2) are available from 100VA to 500VA in 12 VAC. Power supplies (120 VAC input) conform to UL 1598 and are rated as Class 2 Distribution systems. All power supplies are furnished in a UL type 3R enclosure and are provided with thermal type secondary output circuit protection. Normally Off/Emergency remote power can be provided by any 12V emergency lighting product with additional remote capacity. The PowerScape System will support up to 17 PathMaster luminaries operating in both continuous duty and emergency operation for 90 minutes.
