PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The TES-XPEL Explosion Proof Edge-Lit Exit Sign sets new standards in Hazardous Location Exit signs as the first explosion proof self contained emergency LED edge-lit Exit or Custom Graphic sign. The XPEL utilizes the latest high efficiency light sources to provide vivid pronouncement of the legend with exceptional uniformity. This Class 1 Division 1 exit sign is designed for use in the most hazardous of locations, including corrosive environments such as waste treatment plants, oil refineries, and chemical processing centers.

EXTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS

The TES-XPEL is constructed from a copper-free cast aluminum housing with baked-on epoxy powder finish with 1/2" NPT conduit hubs. The acrylic Edge-Lit panel can be ordered in a single or double-faced version. Red or green letters are available as well as custom panel designs such as Euro legends and foreign languages. The TES-XPEL can be ordered with wall/pendant mount or an end mount configuration.

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The TES-XPEL features a fully integrated electronic circuit board and components. The maintenance-free LED light source has an 8 to 10 year life expectancy. The TES-XPEL uses 120/277VAC 60hz input standard but can be ordered with 220/240V 50/60hz input as well for use in foreign countries. Other voltages available upon request, please call to inquire.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY

The TES-XPEL series is designed with a maintenance free, sealed Nickel-Cadmium battery providing a minimum emergency duration of 180 minutes. Recharge time of the battery is twenty- four (24) hours. The maximum battery working temperature is 50 C.

The TES-XPEL series comes from the factory with an unconditional 5 year product warranty.
